Summer is almost over for my little one

We are now less then a week until my youngest goes back to school(she goes year round). This year she will be heading to 1st grade, while my oldest heads to high school.
This year is going to be different for us, and yes I know that it sounds silly but every since Gracie started daycare, my kids have been no more then a block away from each other at school. Last year the elementary school was right across the street from the middle school. There is something comforting in knowing that your kids are right across the street from each other to me, and this year it is going to not be that way. I talk like they are going to be across town from each other- really they are now going to be about 5 blocks away from each other.
To say that Gracie is strong willed, would be an understatement. When she started school last year to say that we had some issues would also be an understatement. She really is a sweet and kind kid, she just well can be mouthy and does what she wants, when she wants. So last year was a struggle. She wasn't getting into huge trouble, but she wanted to push the limits and see exactly what her teacher was going to going to let her get away with. After MANY calls and visits to the school and lots of time put in by her teacher we finally got her on track and she had a wonderful year. By the end of the year she was like a completely different kid!
So as we now head into 1st grade I am just a little worried that the first weeks are going to be yet another struggle.

Why put your business out on Facebook?

I've notice the last few days that I have some friends that are getting pretty mouthy on Facebook. Don't get me wrong, I love facebook. I love being able to connect with my family and my friends that live far away. I can share pictures, video's, and updates of what my family is up to.
What I do not share on facebook is fighting with my friends, family, and anyone else. I do not post about things that are overly personal. Yes, I might post that I am having a bad day, and that I have dealt with some nasty customers at work, my kids are getting on my last nerve or that I need to go on a vacation, that I wish the xbox would magical disapere out of my house. I think you all get my point.
And yes, I have been gulity of posting somethings that I porbaly should not have ever put out there, but it just seems to me like people don't care much these days to put thier "business" out thier for everyone to see.
Anyone else have friends and family that do this? Does it annoy you too?

I have went and visited all of your blogs, I am super glad that I found some new amazing one's to follow!!
For reason every time I comment, it show's up for a minute and then magically goes away. Blogger hates me tonight, or it may be a nice way of saying you should really get your ass in bed since it is almost 1am and you have to be up at work at 6am. My co workers will be loving me tomorrow!!

Let's just get this out of the way now.....

There's something that I feel like you should know if you are going to read my blog regularly, because well it's probably something that will come up from time to time. Yes, I am a Cheer Mom- not the crazy, off the wall, make for TV movie type of cheer mom. I may or may not have a pretty large website for cheer moms, and I may or may not have a facebook page with pretty close to 8000 likes ;) Point is that cheer leading is a HUGE part of our life and yes it will come up from time to time. But this blog is mainly for the OTHER area's of my life. Because well sometimes even I am cheered out. My best friend and sometime have to have "Cheer Free (insert day of week here) days, where we do not talk about anything related to cheer.
My oldest has been cheering for 4 years- 2 years of all stars, and 2 years of middle school, and just made varsity for her high school as a freshman. She decided that she would not be going back to allstars this year. And yes I will admit that I may of had a small mommy freak out fit about it. But all in all it was her choice, rather I agree with it or not. And she made the choice to try out for high school all on her own.
My youngest is in her 3rd year of allstars, and she loves it. She practices 2 nights a week, and will travel about 6 times this year to compete. I will say that it will be strange this year when compatsion season starts and both of my girls not doing it.
I will try to keep this blog as "cheer free" as possible, but sometimes funny, annoying, and exciting things happen that just must be shared!

Let's try this again

After a good week, and setting up my new blog, linking it to facebook, twitter, and all those other wonderful social networking sites- I decided that well as fun as it sounded to track my whole saving money adventure- it probably was not going to be very much fun at all for me.
I like to write, I like to talk, I like to shop. Do I like to write and talk just about shopping? Not really. Plus my everyday life is way more funny, exciting and well just all in all better to write about!
So let's see, what can I tell you about me. I am a Mom, I have two amazing and wonderful daughters. They are amazing kids, and yes, they drive me insane. I think more now then ever, since they are home for the summer.
I have been engaged for the last 7 years- whoever thinks a long engagement is romantic has not lived my life. It feels like the longest engagement in the history of engagements. And most of our family and friends act like and say we are married anyways. But we are planning at 2012 wedding- so we will see.
I work full time in customer service. And well after my day today, and the fact that I should have been in bed 3 hours ago- that's all I am going to write about my job. But be prepared to see post's about some of the lovely and clearly insane people that I have to talk to everyday.
